The EVP, Advocacy and Strategic Engagement is responsible for designing and advancing ISC2’s global strategy for advocacy, strategic engagement, and external affairs. This role serves as a senior ambassador for ISC2’s mission across a network of partners, government entities, major employers, academic institutions, chapter leaders, and thought leaders in the global marketplace. | | The EVP will help define how ISC2 engages on major issues at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, digital trust, public policy, professional development, and workforce strategy. The role is responsible for shaping and leading the organization’s global advocacy agenda, developing high-impact strategic partnerships, strengthening ISC2’s external visibility and thought leadership, and advising the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on external positioning, emerging issues, and long-term influence.

The Senior Marketing Planner, Japan will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy for all ISC2 audiences, to align with the overall GTM plan to achieve our strategic goals and targets in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Leads the development and execution of Japan marketing strategy and plan for all ISC2’s certification, training and professional development products | - Partner with the APAC sales team, to both create a marketing strategy for channel and B2B audiences, including sales enablement tools. Serves as the marketing Subject Matter Expert in Japan to stakeholders outside the team | - Proactively executes multiple, often concurrent, integrated strategic marketing campaigns and projects in support of business goals in Japan, reprioritising where needed. These will include, but are not limited to, lead generation, engagement, progression, membership growth, training revenue, event promotion and member retention | - Collaborate with the wider marketing team on acquisition, progression and member engagement and retention strategies which will impact the Japan market, localising and enhancing where needed | - Tracks overall effectiveness of marketing programs, demonstrating ROI and recommending tweaks or adjustments to improve results based on intuition, experience and data. Owns and is responsible for the implementation of localization projects, including but not limited to, media strategy and planning, budgetary recommendations, creative requests, email automation strategies, execution, performance benchmarks and overall project deadlines | - Experience in copy editing, content translation/trans-creation, digital media and other marketing practices in Japan | - Develops and manages stakeholder relationships and expectations, including sales team and channel partners, to ensure timely completion of projects | - Manage and execute marketing activities for ISC2 events, webinars and industry events in Japan with monitoring on CPLs, KPIs and ROI, etc. | - Miscellaneous duties as assigned, including attending trade shows
Based in Tokyo, you will be responsible to drive Japan revenue sales across all ISC2 products: certification education, exams and webinar sponsorships. In your capacity as Account Executive, Japan you will work with the APAC Associate Director of Business Development, to manage and grow business relationships with large enterprises, local government agencies and channel partners.
